French Ham and Cheese Toast with Egg

Yield: 4 servings
Procedures
- Preheat oven to 400 F.
- Spread butter on half of the bread slices. Place a slice of ham and
swiss cheese on top.
- On the other half of the bread slices, sprinkle grated cheese and top
with a dash of ground black pepper.
- Place all bread slices on a baking tray, then bake in the oven using
top heat, until the cheese is bubbly (about 2-3 minutes).
- Place the bread slice with grated cheese on the ham and cheese toast
to make a sandwich.
- Panfry eggs in butter - sunny side up. Season the egg with salt and
pepper, then carefully place on top of the cheese toast as shown in the
picture.
- Arrange on serving plates.
