This cheese board offers a variety of British cheese standards. First,
the British cheese with which people are most familiar, English
Farmhouse Cheddar. Our Dorset Drum Cheddar is one of the finest you will
ever taste. The attractive, black-wax-coated mini-wheel makes a
distinctive gift or a great snack. Next, White Stilton with Apricot is a
tangy example of England's love of flavored cheeses. It starts out the
same as the classic English blue, but it is not aged and not injected
with Penicillum. Before ripening, it is flavored with generous chunks of
apricot. Finally, Huntsman allows you to try two cheeses in one. It
layers mellow Double Gloucester with powerful Mature Blue Stilton. The
flavor of each comes through distinctly but the combination is something
all together new. (Gift includes handmade wood cheese board and dutch
two-handled cheese knife.)
